So, why play junior rugby with us?
Successful: Both last season, and this, players from
our U17 squad where selected for trials for the Middlesex County (U17), this
season two of our under 14s went on trials with the Middlesex Rugby School, many if not all of all of the players
in our squads excel in sports (especially in Rugby), as well gaining self-confidence.
Fun: Yes, we keep it fun and safe (our coaches are qualified and
CRB checked).
Unique: Video Analysis/coaching from training and matches for
the improvement of individual technique and team work as well as focusing on
player health and safety.
Free food after matches: for those taking part.
Great value: sometimes forgotten with expensive subs at
many other
sports clubs, membership is £20 per season (which also gets you a pair of clubs
socks and shorts) and £3 a week subs.
All of these things help lead to a vibrant junior section which is growing,
with new people turning up most weeks for a "free try out", it is a great place for children ad parents to meet and make friends
so why not be part of it!

Junior Section Club Development Programme; the RFU
Seal of Approval
The Rugby Football Union has introduced the Seal of Approval as a method of examining, maintaining
and improving the provision of rugby in the youth section of a rugby club. It aims to recognise the effort and achievement
of those clubs that reach and maintain the required standard to meet the various levels of the Seal of Approval.
The
Seal of Approval will be used to satisfy the Active Sports Club Registration Criteria for those clubs involved in delivery
of the Active Sports Rugby Union Programme. The criteria for the Sport England (Safe, Effective & Child Friendly Club
mark) is integrated within the Seal of Approval. A successful application for the RFU Seal of Approval will achieve the Sport
England Safe, Effective & Child Friendly Club.
The Award will be an indication of the quality of provision a club
offers, and its commitment to the continued development of young rugby players. A club will receive certification to confirm
accreditation, both from the Rugby Football Union and Sport England
While we have gained the Seal of Approval/Clubmark award, the club will continue to put maximum efforts into developing and
strengthening it's organisation and standards to bring further benefit for current and future members (players, volunteers
and supporters)
