February: Lots of training around the last game, supported by video, and on the last Sunday of the month a WIN against Ruislip away (well at Vyners) - (Ruislip 8 Abbs 17)! - Lets keep it going!!

January: 17th - Back from Christmas and the snow, no training and Ruislip @ home, not a bad game, we lost but the score did not reflect the game, which seems to be a view from their players and coach!

November/December: Solid training, visit to Breakspear by the coachs, snow then Christmas, then snow, then New Year!

October: Saw our first match and we "faced up".  Bring it on!!

September; New players, new season, and starting work on training and our move, are we ready for the drive through?

So what are you doing??? - Enjoy rugby at school want more?

Would you like the opportunity to train with and be coached by experienced coaches and first team players?

Our Squad is made up from a number of local secondary schools such as Vyners, Abbotsfield, Bishopsholt, Mellow Lane, Uxbridge High, Stockley and Douay Martyrs.

Club fees are only £xx per season, and that is that! - Training is on Sundays 10 till 12 and starting soon perhaps one night in the week (you know if you don’t get home worked to death), Oh yea, we have some fun too!!

Sunday 7th March 2010: Well guys what can we say about this game, we definately didn't play as well as we could. We allowed Drifters to dominate the speed and how the game was going to be played.

As a squad there were some good moments, when we noticed that there were gaps in their defence line and we managed to get the ball through our backs and get their players commited but we didn't support our players which stopped us scoring.

Despite Drifters scoring the first points Abbots kept their heads and with some good rucking work and support play Bobby (the Bulldog) picked up the ball and drove over the line to score a worthy and equalizing try with Dan scoring the conversion putting Abbots in front. But Drifters upped the pressure forcing Abbots to make mistakes and Drifters scored an easy try putting the score at Drifters 10 Abbots 7. With Drifters being in front they got the bit between their teeth and started playing good rugby getting the ball along their line of backs, scoring an easy try as we seemed to have forgotten how to tackle, which put Drifters in front at halftime with the score Drifters 17 Abbots 7.

Abbots seemed subdued at the restart and allowed Drifters to dominate for the first five minutes but Abbots where awarded a penalty for a high tackle. With some good rucking and mauling, Quin got the ball to Dan who forced his way over Drifters Try line, but no conversion as the ball went just wide of the uprights, to put the score at Drifters 17 Abbots 12. Unfortunately Abbots then went back to sleep and allowed Drifters to score 3 easy tries.  Abbots still kept fighting and nearly scored but for a knock on just 5 metres from Drifters try line which was then the end of the game..

Some good individual performances today for the following players Bobby, Niall, Lewis and Ryan. Well Done..

We will have a re-match and we will play better.
A good game but we can do better, Paul
